John Root showing a visitor at Starfest 2015 a safe view of the Sun using the Aldrich H-Alpha telescope.

On Monday, August 21, 2017, join the Aldrich Library Telescope Coordinator, John Root and other Aldrich volunteers to view the Solar Eclipse outside the Richards Memorial Library in Paxton, MA from 1:15 PM to 2:45 PM. John will have free safe solar glasses and allow people to view the eclipsing Sun using a special H-Alpha telescope. Please call ahead to let the library know you would like to attend. The eclipse will only be 63.5% locally but the view should be spectacular!
