“Memorial Hall Library has two new telescopes for lending, thanks to the Friends of MHL and the Aldrich Astronomical Society. We’ll start in Memorial Hall with a family friendly presentation by Jim Zebrowski and John Root, from the Aldrich Astronomical Society, about how to observe objects from your own backyard, using a technique called star-hopping. Weather permitting, we’ll head outside for a session with the telescopes.”
